Girls and Literature Anthology
With the help of our incredible volunteers, the Girls and Literature team is putting together an anthology of short stories. These uplifting stories will be translated into multiple languages and are designed to help young students practice their reading comprehension.

Information for accessing the anthology will be updated on this page!
Read-alouds and Book Shipments
Read-alouds have been part of our programming since the organization was founded in 2020. One of the GAL team members or a volunteer connects with a school either virtually or in-person to read stories to younger students.

The cornerstone of Girls and Literature's work lies in our book shipments. We receive book donations from our community members and ship them all around the world.

The Pen Pal Program
The Pen Pal Program pairs girls around the world to encourage literacy, cultural exchange, and mentorship through letter writing. Each volunteer is matched with a student at the Kufunda Village school in Zimbabwe.
This program has been designed to strengthen both communication skills and global connection for both parties.
Student Resource Booklet (coming soon!)
Our Student Resource Booklet is being created to help make the educational landscape in the United States more understandable and accessible, especially for students and families who may not have prior exposure to higher education pathways. Our team, in collaboration with academics studying education accessibility, present clear guidance on navigating college applications, scholarships, financial aid, and résumés. as well as practical study strategies.
