WRITE A STORY
Along with books, GAL will be now using YOUR writing to help educate girls all over the world. Use the attached list of the most commonly used English words to write a short story. Your story should be approximately one page long and should be sent to girlsandliterature@gmail.com. You will either receive edits or a confirmation that your story has been approved, and you will be eligible to receive service hours for your work!
TUTOR FOR GAL
Join our newly created tutoring program! We will be connecting you to English students all over the world. You will have the opportunity to create significant change in a person's life. Especially if you are fluent in a language other than English, this is the program for you because many students may have little to no English experience!
ORGANIZE AN EVENT
Girls and Literature is only as successful as its events. In the past, our team members have held book drives and fundraisers. If you sign up for this program, you will be organizing or participating GAL events. If you are organizing, you will receive additional service hours for the time spent planning (which isn't long)!
